Up-Front  Pricing.  No surprises.

You've likely seen them before ... unexpected bills that are much higher than you anticipated.  An hourly repair man who is supposed to be 1 hour on the job but ends up taking all day.

At Abrams, we eliminate the unknown and the unexpected with clear, easy to understand repair costs presented before any repairs are performed.

Nothing is left to chance, and your equipment is repaired.

How our pricing works.

For most residential heating and air conditioning service calls, we charge a reasonable diagnostic fee to come and perform a thorough system diagnostic inspection. The diagnostic fee takes care of all costs to send a qualified Technician to your home with the tools and experience required to diagnose your equipment.  Once we find out the issues, we use up-front pricing. This means that each repair is priced specifically in our price book.  After a thorough diagnosis of the problem, the Technician will quote the repair price for authorization - before any repairs are performed.

We do not charge on a time-and-materials basis, so you will know exactly what to expect, even if it takes longer than expected to fix the problem.  If the technician has to return another day to complete the repair (with a part, for example), you will not be charged an additional diagnostic fee. Infrequently, some repairs must be made before a complete diagnosis and assessment can be made. For example, power must be restored to a unit before it can be run and tested.

The only fees you pay for are the diagnostic fee, taxes and any up-front pricing tasks that only you authorize.  Nothing more.

What do our fees include?

  • Technician time to complete the repair.
  • All parts required to complete the repair.
  • Office, dispatch and support staff time.
  • Costs of truck, mileage and travel to your home.
  • Liability insurance.
  • Tools and Specialized Diagnostic and Installation Equipment.
  • Extensive Basic and Specialized Training for Field and Office Personnel.
